Freelance French Translator & Editor

Join Nelson as a freelance French Translator and Editor and help shape K-12 education across Canada. This remote role involves translating engaging content for French Immersion and Core French students.
Reporting to the Content Producer, you will collaborate closely with the Content & Curriculum team. Your role demands high-quality translations and adaptations in a high-pressure environment. You will ensure projects meet strict timelines while delivering polished educational materials.
Key Responsibilities :
- ✓Translate and edit content across various subjects
- ✓Communicate with team members to manage project timelines
- ✓Develop app-ready material for the Edwin platform
- ✓Prioritize revisions based on customer feedback
- ✓Create outlines and schedules for educational content
Requirements :
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Education, French, or Translation
- ✓Strong understanding of K12 pedagogy
- ✓High proficiency in French and English
- ✓Experience in educational translation
- ✓Proven ability to develop inclusive materials
- ✓Leverage your language skills and educational expertise to enhance learning experiences with Nelson.
