French Immersion Tutor (K-8)

Prep Academy Tutors provides private in-home tutoring. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average.

We are currently hiring K-8 French immersion tutors who are able to teach a variety of subjects with French as the language of instruction.

• ✓Job Summary
• ✓- Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge based on the Manitoba curriculum.
• ✓- Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material.
• ✓- Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.
• ✓- Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
• ✓Qualifications and Skills
• ✓We are looking for teachers or soon to be teachers who can meet the following criteria:
• ✓- Fluent in French
• ✓- Able to provide instruction in one or more subjects taught in French
• ✓- Committed to providing excellent customer service
• ✓- Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching
• ✓- Enjoy working with students & families
• ✓- Great communication skills
• ✓A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:
• ✓- You hold a registration in good standing with the Manitoba Teacher's Society
• ✓- You are qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside of Manitoba
• ✓- You are qualified to teach in the United States
• ✓- You are a current teacher candidate; pursuing a bachelor of education
• ✓- You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College
• ✓- You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited Canadian University or College
