We are looking for a confident, fluent French-speaking freelance sales representative to contact holiday-property owners and rental businesses throughout France.

Rent-in-France.co.uk is an established holiday-property advertising portal that has promoted French holiday rentals to international travellers since 2007.

Our platform connects travellers directly with property owners and managers. We advertise villas, gîtes, cottages, apartments, ski chalets, chambres d’hôtes, luxury châteaux and wedding or event venues across France.

You will contact carefully selected French property owners and managers by telephone to introduce Rent-in-France.co.uk and explain the benefits of advertising their property with us.

The role will involve :

• ✓Making outbound calls to French holiday-property owners
• ✓Introducing Rent-in-France.co.uk in a professional and friendly manner
• ✓Explaining our advertising packages and key benefits
• ✓Identifying owners who are interested in gaining more international bookings
• ✓Following up interested prospects by telephone and email
• ✓Keeping accurate records of calls, responses and follow-up actions
• ✓Helping suitable owners progress towards a completed paid listing
• ✓Prospect contact details and background information will be provided.

The successful freelancer should have :

• ✓Fluent or native-level French
• ✓Clear and confident telephone communication skills
• ✓Previous experience in telesales, business development, appointment setting or lead generation
• ✓A friendly, persuasive and consultative sales style
• ✓The confidence to speak with property owners, château owners, accommodation providers and small rental businesses
• ✓Good written communication skills for following up prospects
• ✓Reliable internet access and a professional working environment
• ✓The ability to work independently and manage follow-ups carefully

Experience in travel, tourism, holiday rentals, property advertising, hospitality or digital marketing would be particularly valuable.

Payment will include an agreed commission for each new property owner who purchases an advertising package through your introduction.

The exact commission structure will be discussed with shortlisted applicants. Strong performers may be offered an ongoing role, additional incentives and responsibility for a larger portfolio of prospects.

We may initially agree a short trial period so that both parties can assess the quality of the leads, the sales process and the working relationship.
